The antenna was stated to be designed for the waterproof Baofeng devices (like UV-Rplus) but I was not able to twist it into its socket. I had to do some do it yourself work on it and slim it down shown on the photo. This way I can twist it in the place completely. Otherwise it works perfectly.

Seller's service was excellent but I am not satisfied with the product. These antennas both show a VSWR of 1.0 when tested with a Surecom VSWR meter on my Baofeng UV-S radios. All other antennas I have tried read a VSWR of 2.2 or less. These antennas are not usable. I have visually inspected the connectors and they appear to be correct.
